Accreditation

The University of Houston is regionally accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). The College of Optometry’s four-year professional Program and its residency programs are accredited by the Accreditation Council on Optometric Education (ACOE) of the American Optometric Association (AOA).
